LEAD ABATEMENT
Most homes built prior to 1978 may contain lead. Lead is a toxin that can irreversibly affect the health of young children. Lead also adversely affects the health of adults. It only takes minuscule amounts of lead dust to create these health hazards. Black Bear Environmental is licensed by the State of Maine and the federal EPA to conduct abatement and remodeling projects that contain lead.
ASBESTOS
Asbestos building materials were commonly used throughout the construction industry pre 1980. Because asbestos contains dangerous fibers it needs to be removed in a manner that is safe to everyone. Black Bear Environmental has been trained by State of Maine certified trainers, and are licened by the State of Maine to perform Asbestos Abatement

WATER DAMAGE/MOLD
Water damage can occur in may ways throughout a home or commercial building. If water damage is not treated may form mold which can present health hazards to building occupants. Black Bear Environmental is trained to recognize the causes of water infiltration and mold creation, and experienced at solving water infiltration and removing mold hazards.
